SUPPORT THE COALITION
The Carlsbad Coalition has partnered with Carlsbad Municipal Schools to offer Sources of Strength on all Middle & High School campuses. Our team works with students, teachers and counselors at each school to develop 8 core strengths in themselves and their peers. Where do you find strength when things get tough? We encourage you to take a look at the strengths listed here for ideas of many ways you can find and build strength in your life.
Do you need to be connected to help TODAY? See the resources below for many options that will connect you to the help you need. You don't have to fight alone. Together is the best place to build strength.
Connectors to HELP
A Trusted Adult is someone who you could go to if you or a friend needed help. This could be a parent, caregiver, counselor, teacher, mentor, coach, family member, or any other adult that fits the description.
Worried about a friend but aren't sure what to do? Reach out to your Trusted Adult for support.
"I'm worried about (name) because (reason). Will you go with me to talk to them?"
If you don't want the person you're worried about to know, you can ask your Trusted Adult:
"I'm worried about (name) because (reason). I don't want them to know it was me who told you. Will you check on them?"
