This initiative is the foundation for our Coalition and aims to bring awareness in our community, increase reporting, and reduce crime.  Block parties encourage the neighborhood to mingle and get to know each other as well as give an opportunity for community members to speak with local law enforcement about concerns for their area.

Host a block party in your neighborhood the first Saturday in October! The Coalition will provide invitations for you to invite your neighbors and goodies to hand out.

 

Carlsbad Police and Fire Department will provide a safety presentation.
